Yooo Dan, long time no speak. Gutted to hear about Moo's, although you seem lucky in as much as the council seem on your side. Trails are going well up here, had to leave that first spot I told you about due to motocrossers tearing it around the woods giving us a bad name. Found a new spot though which is peachy, it will be so good once its done. Don't suppose you have any tips for building lips and landings taller? We get to about 5ft and can't seem to get them higher.

Lezyne make without a doubt, some of the most attractive tools and pumps out there, however in heavy everyday use, I have not found them to be very reliable. I work in a busy cycle shop, and inflate 20 tyres a day minimum. I have tried pretty much everything out there, SKS Rennkompressor, Park, Topeak, Blackburn, Specialized and of course Lezyne, and to be honest the best pump we ever had is the Giant Tower Control Pro. Everything else has destroyed itself with 3-6 months. I think I would only buy a Lezyne for home use, but not one for bike shops thats for sure.

NorthEasternDH, how are Giant not into their Carbon? They make possibly some of the worlds most advanced carbon frames (Trinity, TCR Advanced, Anthem Advanced etc.) and are the only people making true monocoque carbon frames. Just because they haven't jumped on the carbon DH bandwagon doesn't mean they don't know their stuff, also pretty much every other serious bike they make comes in a Carbon version.

So glad to see Nathan is back, one of my all time favourite riders! No-one hits berms harder than Rennie.

I don't know who told you that, but these weigh in at just over 4lbs, which is a whole pound lighter than any Argyle or Dirt Jumper, and the new 831 weighs in at just over 3lbs, which is verging on XC weight. So no, they are not heavy.

hey steve, yeh the council are being decent. if your having trouble stacking up the dirt and getting steep sides then either your dirt is shit! lol or your not slapping it on right, or try digging after rain it might stick better
